Types of Rotary Dampers and its Applications: click to see models
Rotary dampers with Finite Angles: Mainly use in Sanitary (Smart Toilet seat cover), Home Appliances like Washer/Dryer/Refrigerator, Piano Cover, OA Printer etc. Peir Dampers are having all kind of dampers designs and already supply to customers like International brand in Europe, USA, Asia Pacific country Specially We are single source in India who is supply more than 95% to customer of this segments.
360° Rotary Axial Damper at One Way or Two Way: This type of rotary dampers are widely use in Automobile sectors for In side of cabins like Automotive sector, Car External Handles, EV charger, Pop-up socket etc., Peir have all types of dampers and already supply to the Automobiles company like Toyota, Volkswagen, Nissan, BMW, and Benz….)
Compact and Thin type with both direction in infinite angles: This type of rotary Dampers are widely use in Automobile sectors for In side of cabins like Automotive Armrest, Sunglass Box, Auto Sunshield, Coffee Machines, Electric Kettles, Rice cookers, Jewelry Box etc., Peir Damper have all types of dampers and already supply to the Automobiles company like Toyota, Volkswagen, Nissan, BMW, and Benz, Many International Brands in Europe, Asia Pacific country)
Design Philosophy of Rotary Dampers:
Basically main purpose of rotary dampers are optimizations of Human efforts and feel premium of using daily life products like, toilet seat covers, Washer/Dryers/Dish Washers, Refrigerators, Kitchen appliances, Automotive etc.
Calculating torque from Lid Size and Weight
T (Nm) = W x 9.8 x (L/2)
T: Torque (Nm)
W: Weight (Kg)
L: Distance from fulcrum to tip (m)
e.g- W 2.0kg, L: 0.5m
T=2.0kg x 9.8 x (0.5(m)/2)=4.9(Nm)
Calculating torque from Lid Size and Lifting Force
T (Nm) = F (Maximum) x L
T: Torque (Nm)
F: Lifting Force at Lid tip (N)
L: Distance from fulcrum to tip (m)
e.g- F 2.0 N, L: 0.5m
T=2.0 x 0.5=1.0(Nm)
We have experienced engineers in our R&D division who can design the various force, torque of Dampers with different applications and products. Our dedicated team also working for future concept and smart product applications so request to all to
