Instructions of attention in the use of rotary damper installation

Rotary damper is of small size and delicate structure, so we must put some instructions to damper installation or use. We have to apply it properly and avoid mechanical damage. Please read attention notes carefully before rotary damper installation or use.

  1. Do ensure the installation strength of counterpart

In case of poor strength, your application may be broken and even cause personal injury. Please ensure the damper installation strength and torque are safe to support .

  1. Prohibit the use of a stop device

Do use the rotary damper within the available application range. Do not use dampers to stop other objects, or it may cause personal and mechanical injury accidents.

  1. Prohibit the use of axial overload

Axial overload can cause damage to the shaft so it reduce the life cycle of rotary damper.

  1. Do not exceed the max torque

If the application exceed the rated torque, oil leakage will happen and its life cycle goes down. Overload can damaged the damper shaft greatly. What’s worse, mechanical injury accidents will happen. So please use within the rated torque range.

  1. Avoid using beyond temperature range

The inner structure of rotary damper is very sensitive to temperature. In case of  extreme temperature beyond specified range, torque will become abnormal and cause leakage. Please use the rotary damper in the application temperature range.

  1. Use environmental attention

Please do not use rotary damper under vacuum or high pressure as it will probably cause mechanical damage.

  1. Do not litter the discarded damper

Waste oil in the the vane rotary damper can cause pollution to the environment. Instead we should deal with the discarded damper and its waste oil according to the regulation.

Small part plays a big role. Our rotary damper do helps to smooth motion. If we can use them properly, it will make bigger influence.
